Ground level inspections of chimney stacks, all roofs, eaves gutters, rainwater pipes, external walls, window frames and window sills.

Internal inspection of roof areas, if access to roof lofts is possible.

Examining the structural timber as far as possible for evidence

of timber decay parasites.

Testing the walls at ground level for evidence of rising dampness.

Noting any evidence of penetrating dampness and condensation.

Superficial inspection of the plumbing, central heating and electrical wiring circuits. Advising on specialist tests as appropriate.

Inspection of drainage system including lifting inspection chamber covers if possible.

Giving a view on the subsoil conditions and the possibility of subsidence or land slip.

Noting the position of shrub and tree growth within the immediate area of the property and its likely effect on the property.

Noting evidence of instability in the structure, evidence of subsidence and severe disrepair.

Recommendations for remedial works.

Reinstatement valuation.
